Congrats! I bet you would be happy with any of the possibilities, the most important thing is, that the unborn isn't in any danger and is healthy! I guess that the gender is more important for the fathers…

Congrats! I couldn't watch the video because I am on my phone but even though it isn't a boy I am sure you are happy. Which do you think are more expensive to raise? Girls or boys?

I have no clue on the cost to raise a child based on sex. However, raising a child will be expensive anyway, so I say both lolOn Wed, Sep 5, 2012 at 12:22 PM, YFS <yourfinancessimplified@gmail.com> wrote: approve

That's hilarious. FYI: our neighbor was a radiologist and was absolutely sure that his son Drew was a girl. They even bought a bunch of girl-specific stuff….so you never know until it happens!

That is incredible! Congratulations! So few can say that. I was lucky enough to have a family at my home church who took me under their wings and almost completely funded my way through college. Your daughter is a lucky little girl. You should write a blog post about how you did it, if you haven't already.

I probably end up writing about it later, I have so much to do at the moment, but good idea. On Wed, Sep 5, 2012 at 11:35 AM, YFS <yourfinancessimplified@gmail.com> wrote: approve

Totally normal. Just make sure you use all of that financial knowledge you have to save up for her teen years, her college years, and her wedding, LOL.

LOL! You two are so adorable, lol. Dominique, as the mother to two girls, I can honestly tell you that they are a pure joy. As a mother to two boys (one is still baking), I can tell you that they are also an incredible joy. You are already in love with that little girl, just imagine how much more you will love her when you can see her little face and hold her in your arms. No greater feeling of love EVER. Good luck you two!
